The 2023 IEM Katowice is one of the biggest and most awaited events in the professional scene of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament.
The tournament comes back this year with an even larger prize pool of $1,000,000 at stake.
Play-In: will be played in a double-elimination bracket, and opening matches are played in the best-of-one series, while the following series are best-of-three.
Group Stage: is composed of two groups of eight, and each group is played in GSL format, and all matches are played in the best-of-three series.
Playoffs: will be played in the Single-elimination bracket, Quarterfinals and semi-finals are played in best-of-three while the Grand final is a best-of-five series.
